1. Digital transfers of all photographs, slides and documents for use in your DVD family portrait.

2. A DVD copy of all photographs, slides and documents.

3. Digital transfers of all 8mm, 16mm, video and DVD material.

4. A DVD copy of all 8mm, 16mm, video and DVD material “uncut”.

5. All research, acquisition and digital transfers of documentary, film and TV clips.

6. All research, acquisition and digital transfers of music material.

7. A CD copy of preliminary music selections.

8. Filmed interviews of your family (if desired).

9. Additional photography (if desired).

10. Voice over recording (if desired).

11. The additional acquisition and digital transfer of sound effects.

12. Between 3 and 4 months editing of all the above material.

13. A DVD copy of the "1st cut".

14. A DVD Master of your finished movie with customized cover and label.

15. A DVD Copy of your finished movie with customized cover and label.

Finished Length Price (In Canadian dollars)

30 minutes approximately - total $8,000.
45 minutes approximately - total $13,000.
60 minutes approximately - total $18,000.

Length is dependent on the size of your archive, the amount of filmed interviews, additional photography and documentary material.

I recommend a maximum length of 60 minutes approximately. This is more than adequate to tell your story in an entertaining fashion.
My DVD family portrait is 58 minutes long and contains over 500 photographs, 16 minutes of home movies and a liberal amount of documentary material.

This is not to say it could not be longer.
The central idea is not to bore your audience.

Travel Prices for Out-Of-Town Clients

1. Plane fare(s) (economy if under 5 hours flying) – if applicable
2. Travel to & From Airport $200. – if applicable
3. Gas Mileage .35/km
4. Hotel (minimum 2 nights)
